All of our finished product inner cores, cartons, and paperboard packing in Bounty, Puffs, and Charmin are made from more than 95% recycled fiber and are recyclable where programs exist. More than 84% of this packing is post-consumer recycled.
Our paper products are made of a pulp blend that includes sustainably-sourced, fast-growing renewable fibers. 100% of our virgin fibers come from sources that have been 3rd party certified to ensure they adhere to responsible sourcing principles and criteria.
No. 100% of the pulp used in our products is elemental chlorine free (ECF). If pulp is said to be ECF, it means that no elemental chlorine gas was used during the bleaching process. For more information read this (Facts About the Use of Bleaching Agents in Tissue and Paper Towel Manufacturing) from the American Forest & Paper Association.
Bounty, Puffs, and Charmin inner cores, cartons and paperboard packing are recyclable where programs exist.
Our goal is to create the most efficient product possible. By using virgin paper from responsibly managed forests, our products are more absorbent, so you can do more with four times less waste. Paper products made from recycled materials are less soft, less absorbent and lack the strength that products manufactured from virgin paper can provide.
